Beef Shank with Creamed Cauliflower

Paleo friendly, dairy free, and grain free; this is one of my detox recipes. I wrote this to offer my family a nourishing meal that would feel like comfort food but not cost a fortune. You can make it with bone in chicken thighs if you don't eat red meat, lamb shanks which are inexpensive, or even turkey legs.The beauty of the slow cooker makes this a very quick meal. When you arrive home simply steam and whip up the creamed veggies. You could serve it over rice or mashed potatoes too. The possibilities are endless!
