One Week Detox Meal Plan

Day 1:    Breakfast

2 eggs with a handful of spinach

Large glass of water with lemon slice

*make lunch to bring to work 

Lunch

Leftover weekend dinner 

Large glass of water and herbal tea at work

snack: trail mix of raw nuts and seeds

Dinner (no big meals after 8p)

Baked fish with lemon and garlic, make extra for lunch tomorrow

Rice and steamed vegetables

Large glass of water and herbal tea after dinner (try Licorice Root)

*Put one cup oats in a pan with 2 cups water and cover

Day 2:    Breakfast

Large glass of water with lemon

Turn oats on, add cinnamon, 1 scoop yogurt, and 1/4 cup berries

*make lunch to bring to work

Lunch

Leftover fish with salad greens, tomatoes, feta, cucumber, and olives, olive oil and lemon

Large glass of water with lemon

snack:  small apple with almond butter

Dinner

One pot chicken with baby potatoes, beets, carrots, onions, and bell peppers

Large glass of water with dinner and Licorice root tea for dessert

Day 3:    Breakfast

Large glass of water with lemon

Yogurt with berries and walnuts, 1 tsp ground flaxseedd

Lunch

Leftover chicken one pot with leftover veggies

Snack: carrots, cucumber, peppers with hummus 

Dinner

Soup, simple broth with veggies and small rolled meatballs of ground turkey, beef, or pork

Season meat well, roll into balls and drop into soup when it is at a low boil

Day 4:    Breakfast

Lg glass of water before work 

2 eggs with handful of greens

*Make lunch for work.

Mexican style taco salad with greens, avocado, tomato, cilantro, green onion, beans, and salsa

Snack: A pear with walnuts and cheese

Dinner

Stir fry veggies and chicken, shrimp, steak, or portobello mushrooms over rice or quinoa.

Day 5: Breakfast

Breakfast

Oops! You overslept, no worries. Grab a HB egg, cheese, nuts and grapes protein pack at Starbucks and give yourself a break. 

Lunch

Eat out day, YEAH! you made it 5 days “cooking” and it was a late morning, Take yourself out to lunch: buy a Vietnamese pho, curry vegetables and rice, or Sashimi and seaweed salad, rice noodle soba, a Cobb salad, or a big burrito bowl at Chipotle.

Dinner

Large glass of water 

Broiled steak with baby bok choy. Rub both with olive oil, season with salt and pepper and broil lightly.

Add Tamari, lime, press a garlic clove and grate ginger over both while you let the meat rest for 5 minutes.
