Healthier French Fries

You have the right to know whether or not the potatoes you are about to eat are full of sh%*t. These fries are free of GMO ingredients and full of nutrition so they break all the rules. They are healthier french fries and you are going to love them!!!

These particular fries are made out of butternut squash, but you are free to decide what to make your fries out of. The following are all delicious:

Healthier French Fries

  • Potato
  • Sweet Potato
  • Butternut Squash
  • Turnip
  • Celeriac
  • Carrot

Simply peel and cut the tuber into your very best french fry shape and spread them in a single layer on a cookie sheet. Heat up the oven to 400º and rub the spuds with a healthy non GMO fat. This does NOT include vegetable oil so please don't go there.

Here are delicious possibilities that will not damage your body:

Healthy Fats

  • Coconut oil
  • Home rendered pork lard
  • Extra virgin olive oil

Sprinkle the fries with enough sea salt to taste and consider a seasoning. I love paprika on my butternut squash fries, cinnamon on my sweet potato fries, but plain old sea salt on my spuds.

Bake for about 40 minutes until crispy, but do not let these goodies burn!
